EDUCATION: Indiana University (B.S., 1973); Drake University (J.D.,1978). Law Clerk to Honorable Allen Sharp, Chief Judge, U.S. District Court, Northern District of Indiana, 1978-1980.

MEMBER: Bar Associations of La Porte City, La Porte County, Indiana State (2005 - 2006 Chair, Litigation Section-Council Member District 3), Seventh Circuit, Liaison Representative for the Northern District of Indiana, and American. TRIAL AND APPELLATE COURT EXPERIENCE: Mr. Kus tries civil and criminal cases in both state and federal courts. He defends people accused of crimes. He defends clients in civil suits and prosecutes personal injury claims for them. He appears before the various administrative agencies on cases involving civil rights and job discrimination claims. He prepares briefs and argues appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the Indiana Court of Appeals.
