EXPERIENCE: Ms. Jacobucci practices primarily in the area of family law. She has experience representing clients in the following types of domestic relations matters: dissolution of marriage, legal separation, paternity, child custody, parenting time disputes, child support, adoptions, guardianships, children in need of services proceedings, grandparent visitation actions, protective order proceedings, and appellate proceedings before the Indiana Court of Appeals. Ms. Jacobucci also has general litigation experience. EDUCATION: Ms. Jacobucci is a graduate of the Valparaiso University School of Law (J.D., 2004) and Saint Mary’s College (B.A. Political Science/Psychology, summa cum laude, 2001). While attending Valparaiso University School of Law, she was actively involved with and served as a justice for the Moot Court Honor Society. BAR ADMISSIONS: She was admitted to the bar on October 18, 2004 (Indiana and U.S. District Courts, Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana). AWARDS: Ms. Jacobucci is a recipient of the Charles L. Vaughan Award for Trial Advocacy. PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIPS: Ms. Jacobucci is the past President of the La Porte County Bar Association. LEADERSHIP: Ms. Jacobucci serves as the Secretary of the La Porte Hospital Foundation Board of Directors; Chairperson of the Planned Giving and Endowment Committee of the La Porte Hospital Foundation Board of Directors; and as a volunteer judge for the Teen Court Program. |
