EXPERIENCE: Mr. Kaminski is experienced and qualified for civil mediation or arbitration having participated in more than 700 cases. He is also a Certified Alternative Dispute Resolution Mediator by the Indiana Commission for Continuing Legal Education.
 
EDUCATION:  Mr. Kaminski earned his undergraduate and law degrees at Indiana University (B.A., 1946; J.D. 1950).
 
BAR ADMISSIONS:
Mr. Kaminski was admitted to the bar in 1950 (Indiana Supreme Court, U.S. District Courts, Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, U.S. Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit; U.S. Supreme Court).
 
AWARDS: Over the years, Mr. Kaminski has been presented with many awards in Indiana, including the Distinguished Alumni Service Award from Indiana University School of Law; Indianapolis (1988) and Sagamore of the Wabash (1999).  In 2000, he was recognized by The Indiana General Assembly, House of Representatives, which adopted a Resolution honoring many professional and community contributions to the State of Indiana.  He was also the recipient of The Legendary Lawyer Award (2000), presented by the Indiana Bar Foundation.
 
PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIPS: Mr. Kaminski is a member of the following professional and/or fraternal organizations: the American Bar Association, American Judicature Society, Indiana State Board of Bar Examiners (1971-1976; Vice-President, 1972); Bar Associations of La Porte City (President 1967-1968); La Porte County (President 1972-1973); Indiana State (President,1982-1983); Member, Board of Managers (1977-1978, Vice-President, 1980-1981, President Elect, 1981-1982); Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana (Diplomat); Indiana Supreme Court Committee on Character and Fitness (1991-present); United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana Advisory Committee on Local Rules and Civil Justice Reform Act Advisory Committee, (1991-1992);  Phi Delta Phi, legal fraternity; Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, La Porte County, Indiana (1953-1958).  He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers (State Chairman 1981-1982); the Indiana Bar Foundation (Chairman of Fellows, 1991-1992); the American Bar Foundation; and the International Society of Barristers (State Chairman 1985).
