EXPERIENCE: Mr. Roule has practiced law since 1961. He was a member of the law firm of Roule & Raelson until 1984 and a member of the firm most recently known as Osborn, Baugher, & Roule until joining NLK&J in May, 2008.

He has been engaged in general practice throughout his career.  In addition, Mr. Roule served as City Attorney under La Porte Mayors A.J. Rumely, William Angrick, Carl Krentz, and Leigh Morris; and as a Deputy Prosecutor to La Porte County (1968-1976). At NLK&J he concentrates his practice in estate planning and administration, contracts, real estate, and mediation.

EDUCATION: Mr. Roule earned both his undergraduate and law degrees at the University of Notre Dame (B.S. 1958; J.D. 1961).

BAR ADMISSIONS: He was admitted to the bar in 1961 (Indiana and Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana; U.S. Supreme Court, 1965; U.S. Court of Military Appeals, 1965). 

PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIPS:  He is a member of the La Porte County and Indiana State Bar Associations.

LEADERSHIP: Mr. Roule has served as a member and Chairman of the Board of Directors of La Porte Hospital, Inc.  He was a member of the board of La Porte Hospital Foundation, and also served on the Board of Directors of the La Porte Family YMCA.  Art is Past President of the La Porte Kiwanis Club and is also Past President of the United Fund of La Porte, for which he also served as Drive Chairman.
